Call for Abstracts

The submission of abstracts for the ICAHIS 2018 is closed!

The conference themes of Connecting, Collaborating and Creating have been established by the International Programme Committee to create an open arena for your conference contributions.

The Connecting theme offers opportunities to share your ideas and experiences in connecting with users, technology, disciplines, or entities, the past and present literature (historic collections and archives).

The Collaborating theme offers opportunities to share your ideas and experiences about partnerships with veterinary and non-veterinary librarian colleagues, discipline faculty, organizations, institutions, exchange experiences or possibilities, or job shadowing between institutions.

The Creating theme offers opportunities for sharing your ideas and experiences in developing new resources, webpages, online tutorials, courses/classes outside of and within the curriculum, spaces, makerspaces, new jobs or new positions.

Types of presentations and workshops

There are three different opportunities to contribute to the conference.  Please state on your submission which type you think would best showcase your work.  The possibilities are:

  • Contributed Papers
  • Contributed Posters
  • Workshops (Depending on interest and submissions, may be Pre, post or during the conference)

We intend to publish proceedings and posters online in one or more international institutional repositories. Print proceedings may also be produced.
